Elegant yet durable zipper bifold wallet handcrafted using high quality Japanese Shell Cordovan and vegetable tanned leather from Italy. In this particular design, the simplistic outward appearance and the contrast thread highlights the straight and cleaning saddle-stitching. This zipper wallet combines hard-wearing shell cordovan and Italian vegetable tanned leather to form a beautiful and secure bifold wallet. The YKK Excella zipper opens from three sides to reveal a full bifold with an ID flap and bill dividers. This Shell Cordovan has a beautiful gloss finish with a deep and rich color, a quality characteristic of the Japanese tanning and finishing methods. Features six credit card slots, center ID flap with clear plastic window, bill divider for two bill compartments, and a smooth zipper that slides along three-sides of the wallet. This handmade zipper bifold wallet is stamped with minimalistic maker’s found in the interior hidden behind the ID flap, leaving the beautiful shell cordovan exterior to truly shine. This beautiful wallet is definitely more than meets the eye.
The zipper bifold wallet can be made featuring only 6 card slots and a single bill compartment, removing the ID window and bill divider, for €500. Economical versions in full vegetable tanned leather is also available via custom commission for €300 and €350. Prices exclude vat/import/shipping.
Please be mindful of natural surface marks of leather and slight color variations which naturally occurs. While I do everything I can to truly represent the leather color, it can be difficult due to a number of reasons. For example, the hides themselves have natural marks and slight variations in color, different screen display settings, etc. Please check the FAQ for shipping options. Price listed excluding VAT.
Construction
- Hand stitched using traditional saddle stitching technique.
- Edges will be polished to a smooth finish and creased for aesthetics. A water-based burnishing agent is used. It is then finished with wax.

Materials Used
- High grade and Full Grain Japanese Shell Cordovan and vegetable tanned bovine leather from Italy. Limited quantities available.
- Hand-waxed polyester thread is used for abrasion resistance and color-lasting.
- Water-based glued is applied for adhesion prior to saddle stitching.
- Specially made water-based burnishing agent from Japan is used for polished edges.
