One of the first original designs within the studio when it first started in Madrid. This is a carefully handcrafted structured handbag made from flexible yet durarble Chévre leather from France. The inspiration of this handbag was to capture an elegant appearance with a practical and modern bag opening. The unique zipper design mimics a doctor’s bag which opens up very wide, allowing the user a clear view of their bag contents.  Fully handstitched and lined in leather to beautifully last for years. Because of its unique design, this handbag can easily carry your daily essentials such as your wallet, keys, sunglasses, phone, a small water bottle, and more. The tapered appearance allows a streamlined silhouette while everything inside is secured with a matching YKK Excella zipper. The rolled handles guarantees the carrier a comfortable hand or elbow carry and the removable and adjustable crossbody strap features a wide shoulder pad. Always happy to adjust the details to meet specific needs.

• Leather of Model in video: Black crocodile with all black embellishments. Custom version with no exterior pockets and two internal pockets.
• Leather of Model in pictures: French Chévre in Gray with contrasting embellishments. Custom version with two exterior pockets.
• Thread: Hand-waxed, abrasion resistant polyester thread.
• Edges: Creased and painted with custom-mixed color to match thread, then polished with wax.
• Default Features: Spacious single compartment and 2 exterior pockets with a cute flap design. Rolled top handles for a comfortable hand carry and can transition to a hands-free carry with its removable and adjustable crossbody strap. The strap has a wide shoulder pad to distribute bag weight for a more ergonomic carry. YKK Excella Zipper with color matching zipper tape. Perfectly stores the Travel Long Wallet and more.
• Models handcrafted from exotics will feature two interior slip pockets.

Construction

• Hand stitched using traditional saddle stitching technique. Each stitching hole is carefully marked and saddle stitched to create a beautiful final product.
• Rolled leather handle features a leather core for a sturdy and comfortable hand carry.
• Edges will be aesthetically creased and painted using a specialty leather paint from Italy. It will then be polished with wax.
• Fully lined in leather.

Materials Used

• High grade, full grain French Chevre or Spanish Calfskin leathers. Contact me through Instagram or Email for more colors and other leather options.
• Vegetable tanned leather options available for those who desire Patina.
• YKK Excella zipper in silver or gold teeth and in matching zipper tape color.
• Stainless steel hardware in silver or gold (24k plated) finish to match the zipper.
• Hand-waxed polyester thread is used for abrasion resistance and color-lasting.
• No toxic chemicals are used in the making of this bag.

A one-of-a-kind luxury zippered handbag designed and handcrafted in my independent studio in the north of Spain in the province of Asturias. I was inspired by the comfortable and large bag opening that the traditional Doctor’s bag offers but I wanted it to be more elegant. This unique bag was born and allows the user a comfortably wide opening to easily grab what you need, while also providing the security of a zipper closure. The handmade bag maintains a tapered and sleek form when closed, creating an elegant silhouette. When unzipped, the large opening allows the wearer to easily navigate through the bag contents without any fuss. It is the perfect size to carry all that is needed for your day including a small water bottle, keys, wallet, sunglasses, makeup kit, and more. While I do everything I can to truly represent the leather color, it can be difficult due to a number of reasons.
